Arts and Humanities Grants Available in Oklahoma

The Allied Arts and Humanities Fund, a component fund of the Bartlesville Community Foundation, is accepting applications for the year-end grant cycle.  The application deadline is December 31, 2015.

Professional Development Grants for Teachers in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence is accepting professional development grants in STEM - science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The grants are sponsored by the Boeing Company and are available to public school teachers in Canadian, Cleveland, and Oklahoma counties.  The application deadline is December 18, 2015.

Grants for Community Birding Projects (National)

Celebrate Urban Birds at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology invites organizations and educators to apply for mini-grants to help fund neighborhood events in communities everywhere.  The application deadline is December 31, 2015.

Environmental Education Grants in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Environmental Quality Education Committee is accepting applications for projects that promote enthusiasm in young people for learning about the environment and natural resources.  The deadline is December 1, 2015.

Americorps Service Grants (National)

This AmeriCorps State and National (AmeriCorps) accepts grant applications annually in specific focus areas.
A notice of intent to apply is required by December 15, 2015.  The full proposal due January 20, 2016.

Grants for Nonprofits in Oklahoma

Cherokee Strip Community Foundation is accepting letters of intent. The letter should detail the project and what the grant money will be used for.  The application deadline is July 31, annually.

Grants for Teachers (National)

The Voya Unsung Heroes program (formerly the ING Unsung Heroes program) annually provides grants to K-12 educators utilizing new teaching methods and techniques that improve learning.  The application deadline is April 30, annually.

Grants to Internationalize Teaching and Learning in the Classroom (National)

The Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) Program accepts applications annually from qualified U.S. middle and high school teachers for professional development grant opportunity to internationalize teaching and learning in their classes.  The application deadline is generally in mid-March.

Grants for Nonprofits in Oklahoma

The City of Muskogee Foundation accepts applications twice annually for  program grants.  The spring cycle letter of inquiry is due February 15.  The fall cycle letter of inquiry is due August 1.

Grants for Music Instruments (National)

Classics for Kids Foundation aims to bridge the funding gap and enhance school music programs by providing matching grants for beautiful new stringed instruments.  Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis.
