Grants for Teachers (National)

The Voya Unsung Heroes program (formerly the ING Unsung Heroes program) annually provides grants to K-12 educators utilizing new teaching methods and techniques that improve learning.  The application deadline is April 30, annually.



Artists in Schools Program Grants Available in Hawaii

The Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts is accepting applications for the Artists in the Schools Program Partnership Grant. All public schools, including charter schools, are eligible to apply for artist residencies to be conducted during the 2015-16 school year.  The application deadline is May 1, 2015.



Conservation, Education and Healthcare Grants for Organizations in California and Hawaii

The Joseph & Vera Long Foundation will be accepting requests for invitations to apply for the fall grant cycle. The request period opens August 17 and runs through September 7, 2015. 
 



At Risk Youth Program Grants (National)

The Entertainment Software Association Foundation is dedicated to supporting positive programs and opportunities that make a difference in the quality of life, health, and welfare of youth.  The application deadline is May 15, 2015.



Grants to Internationalize Teaching and Learning in the Classroom (National)

The Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) Program accepts applications annually from qualified U.S. middle and high school teachers for professional development grant opportunity to internationalize teaching and learning in their classes.  The application deadline is generally in mid-March.



Grants for Maui Nonprofit Organizations

The Maui Hotel and Lodging Association is accepting applications for the Maui Visitor Industry Charity Walk (VICW). All non-profit organizations are eligible to apply. Proof of non-profit status is required.  The application deadline is April 22, 2015.  Hawaii grants



Grants for Music Instruments (National)

Classics for Kids Foundation aims to bridge the funding gap and enhance school music programs by providing matching grants for beautiful new stringed instruments.  Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis.



Americorps Service Grants (National)

This AmeriCorps State and National (AmeriCorps) is accepts grant applications annually in specific focus areas.
A notice of intent to apply is required and the deadline is generally in early December, with the full proposal due in January.



Grants for Literary Groups (National)

Amazon makes grants to nonprofit groups that foster the creation, discussion, and publication of great books.  There is no application deadline.
