Grants for Jewish Community Projects in Arizona

Young Jewish Funders of Arizona is accepting applications for its third round of grants.  The mission of Young Jewish Funders of AZ is to identify and support initiatives that strengthen the metro Phoenix Jewish community.  The application deadline is October 16, 2015.



Heritage Grants in Arizona

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is accepting applications for Heritage Grant awards in two categories for the 2015 grant cycle. Grant proposals will be accepted in various categories: Environmental Education, Outdoor Education, Schoolyard Habitat, Urban Wildlife/Habitat, Public Access, and IIAPM. The application deadline is September 30, 2015.



Grants to Support Organizations in Arizona

The Charro Foundation accepts grant applications annually.  The deadline is June 15.



Grants for Wildlife Conservancy (National)

The Thornton S. Glide, Jr. and Katrina D. Glide Foundation is a charitable trust providing benefits for qualified organizations committed to animal protection organizations, and other land and wildlife conservancy groups. 
Applications are accepted from May 15 through August 15, annually.  **Please note, the next 2015 deadline is August 13**



STEM Mini Grants Available for Arizona After School Programs

The Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence and Cox Communications are accepting applications for 2015 STEM Mini-Grants.  The grants will be awarded to Arizona out-of-school time programs that use creative and innovative methods to incorporate or expand the use of STEM-based learning. 
The application deadline is May 15, 2015.

 



Humanities Grants Available in Arizona

The Arizona Humanities Council (AHC) supports innovative, community-based projects that use humanities disciplines to connect Arizonans to the cultures, peoples, and histories of the state and beyond. 

The letter of inquiry deadline is April 24; the full proposal deadline is June 5, 2015.



Grants for Teachers (National)

The Voya Unsung Heroes program (formerly the ING Unsung Heroes program) annually provides grants to K-12 educators utilizing new teaching methods and techniques that improve learning.  The application deadline is April 30, annually.



Grants for Research Programs in the Arts (National)

The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design will begin accepting applications for the Craft Research Fund on May 4. The Mission of the fund is to advance, expand and support research about craft in the United States.  The application deadline is October 9, 2015.



Grants to Internationalize Teaching and Learning in the Classroom (National)

The Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) Program accepts applications annually from qualified U.S. middle and high school teachers for professional development grant opportunity to internationalize teaching and learning in their classes.  The application deadline is generally in mid-March.



Grants for Music Instruments (National)

Classics for Kids Foundation aims to bridge the funding gap and enhance school music programs by providing matching grants for beautiful new stringed instruments.  Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis.
