Young Brothers, Limited and Hawaiian Tug & Barge are accepting grant applications from Big Island non-profit community organizations for its Community Gift Giving Program.  The application deadline is September 25, 2015.

Community Grants in New Hampshire

The Meredith Village Savings Bank Fund makes grants every year to local community initiatives and non-profits that make a significant impact upon the lives of people in the communities they serve.  The next application deadline is October 15, 2015.

Environmental Education Grants Available for Nonprofits in Alabama

Legacy provides environmental education grants annually through the Legacy Grants Program. Funds for this program are allocated specifically to assist with helping to create environmentally responsible citizens through education.  The application deadline is September 25, 2015.

Grants for Nonprofit Programs Addressing Cultural Exchange (Multiple States)

The Laura Jane Musser Fund will be accepting applications to the Intercultural Harmony initiative beginning September 16. 

The Fund would like to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between groups and citizens of different cultural backgrounds within defined geographical areas through collaborative, cross-cultural exchange projects. Projects must be intercultural and demonstrate intercultural exchange, rather than focused on just one culture.  
The application deadline is October 16, 2015.

Health and Wellness Grants Available for Nonprofits and Other Organizations in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation is accepting applications for The Wellness Initiative. This initiative is designed to promote the integration of physical activity, good nutrition and other healthy lifestyle choices into the daily routines of children and adults living in Oklahoma County.  The request for invitation must be submitted by October 9, 2015.

Womens and Childrens Program Grants for Nonprofits Available in Virginia

The Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way of Central Virginia is accepting grant applications from 501(c)(3) organizations to support children’s literacy activities. Applications are sought for programs focusing on: After School Programs (K- 5th grade), Summer Learning, Early Childhood Literacy (birth - age 6) and Quality Child Care.  The application deadline is September 10, 2015.

Grants for Community Improvement in New Jersey

The Princeton Area Community Foundation accepts applications to the Greater Mercer Grants program twice annually. This is a competitive program benefiting residents of Mercer County, New Jersey, and the adjoining areas of surrounding counties. The Foundation seeks to build the strength and capacity of communities, and bring about lasting change over time by both meeting immediate needs and investing in programs and organizations for long term impact.  The next application deadline is September 15, 2015.
