The Women’s Sports Foundation’s GoGirlGo! Program was created to give girls access to physical activity. GoGirlGo! Ambassador Team Awards championed by Gatorade reward high school girls for taking the lead by inspiring other girls to participate in sports and physical activity.
Teams must lead their own team project that will get girls in their communities physically active and tell us about the project.
Who is eligible to apply for the program?
School, amateur, community and/or nonprofit affiliated teams whose members are female, enrolled in 9th-12th grade and residents of the United States, its territories or protectorates.
Grants will be made payable to the school, nonprofit institution or 501(c)(3)organization. Proof of nonprofit status and/or 501(c)(3) status is required (if applicable).
The application deadline is July 17, 2009.
